Videos

Three great videos to watch and share with youth, parents and leaders:

First, an overview of last year's Martin Luther King Day of Service. We'll be participating in the Greater Philadelphia event, the largest in the nation.

Second, an overview of Cradles to Crayons, the Philadelphia-based organization that will distribute the arts and crafts kits we'll be assembling during the service project.

Third, an overview of LDS Humanitarian Services, which is providing a grant for the purchase of supplies for the arts and crafts kits.

Videos could be shown during a fireside or as part of a weeknight Young Men/Young Women activity, or during your "A Brand New Year" event on New Years Eve. They can also be shared by emailing a link to www.SaintsOnTheDelaware.blogspot.com to others. Let's spread the word!

"The Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ has no doubt had a powerful impact on your life. It has, in part, shaped who you are and what your future will be. Do not be afraid to share with others your experiences as a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. We all have interesting stories that have influenced our identity. Sharing those stories is a nonthreatening way to talk to others. Telling those stories can help demystify the Church. You could help overcome misperceptions through your own sphere of influence, which ought to include the Internet." ~ Elder M. Russell Ballard, “Sharing the Gospel Using the Internet,” Ensign, Jul 2008
